They are overcharging. My store sells it for $18-20 per container. The problem with that distributor is that it’s really hit or miss buying that Santa Barbara mixed-bag uni. Glad you got lucky with a good batch.

I used to live in Maryland and could get uni at several places. Now in Ohio and not so much. My favorite sushi item ever ! Well that and ankimo.

but one scoop on a bit of rice is $15 a piece at omakase…
