Totally agree. I make this (Japanese Milk Bread) on a regular basis and bring it to potlucks and other gatherings. Many people just rave about it and specifically request this item when I’m invited to parties.

I’ve been mostly a lurker as a very casual, very insincere baker for years but I would really love to get tangzhong method bread right ONCE. Forget sourdough, gimme the pillow carbs.
