Here's a curve ball, in my youth I worked for an HVAC company. Did a home in Maysville KY and homeowner and widow prepared meat pies for us for lunch and dinner. She was George Clooneys neighbor 😮.

I struggle at 60 to remember every moment with my Grandmother, wished I had paid more attention to her knowledge. My mom was savvy because of her, seafood was a rarity but fish local another story. She cooked when store bought meat wasn't available or affordable so wild game/other had to be prepared properly. I know now when Harlan and Claudia Sanders came over for her Skillet fried chicken their recipe stems from her. Lately ashamed of what KFC has eluded too.😮
