A Paddington cake made for my Mum's birthday this year 😊
Vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream filling, coated with ganche with a fondant hat and jacket.
Sponge Recipe:
525g Butter
525g Caster Sugar
6tsp Vanilla Extract
9 Large Eggs
525g Self-Raising Flour
Buttercream:
200g Butter
450g Icing Sugar
1tbps Milk
Ganache:
270ml Double Cream
180g White Chocolate
360g Milk Chocolate

Wow, this looked like a ceramic. This is such a great job. I’m not sure I’d get Paddington Bear vibes but I don’t really know Paddington Bear well so that’s most likely on me.
