I've fallen in love with low effort meal prep via sheet pan.
I buy meats in bulk (marinade and freeze) or if I'm feeling even lazier, I grab the pre-portioned and pre-marinaded meats at the store.
Along with an assortment of frozen veggies and carbs.
Each night I pull out a random frozen meat and let it thaw over night. Then it's just a quick 5 minute effort to clean, chop, and season the carbs.. then toss and season the frozen veggies, and put on a pan.
Toss this in the oven at 350 for about 30 mins (using thermometer to check meat temp) and go watch TV or whatever else I want while it's cooking.

Please post your recipe / list of ingredients!
We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn’t mind adding that we’d appreciate it!
Ingredients:
– Chicken breast marinated in buffalo sauce
– Potato, chopped then seasoned with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
– Frozen Broccoli, seasoned with olive oil and Mrs. Dash
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350f
2. Chop potatoes and toss with olive oil and seasoning
3. Toss frozen broccoli with olive oil and seasoning
4. Put everything on a sheet pan
5. Cook for about 30 minutes, using a thermometer to check meat temp for doneness.
Do you cook everything from frozen?
EDIT: You answered this… you let it thaw overnight, so the meat and taters are fresh. Only the veggies are frozen.
Tray bakes are the best. So easy, and you can really change the flavor just by adding spice or citrus or whatever you like.
This is the ideal meal prep. I could eat this most days of the year.
Love this! Please share more examples-what other meat and marinade combinations do you do?
I feel like this is a grown up TV dinner. Good job!
Looks great! I do similar meals in my air fryer…minus the carb component! I keep things prepped in my freezer ready to go…a minute or two in the microwave to thaw and then I finish it in the air fryer. My air fryer has truly changed my life. I rarely turn on my oven these days.
I love watching the meal prep photos others post, but I don’t want to eat the same thing every day for dinner (I do meal prep breakfast and lunch) so I like prepping things uncooked or blanched, marinated, etc., and then actually doing the cooking when I’m ready to eat.
I also make a low carb casserole once a week or so…right now I’m eating low-carb for weight loss…and I freeze the leftovers in portions and over time I have a variety of casserole portions in my freezer to rotate.
