Keep your expectations low in terms of it tasting like regular pasta. And also make sure not to overcook it – it falls apart very easily.
Also FYI the calories are basically the same as regular pasta. And it’s only a few extra grams of protein. Not worth it in my opinion, taste/texture wise. I prefer using regular pasta and adding protein in other ways.

I love this stuff. I make a meal-prep with this pasta, greek yogurt and cottage cheese blended, a bunch of diced chicken breast, and chopped spinach. I call it “macro cheese”
I really like them. Meal prepped some cheesy beef mac with em a couple different times.

These are the best pasta substitutes in my opinion. And as someone who doesn’t eat meat- I love the protein

These tasted okay (firmer and more rigid than regular pasta) but gave me a very unhappy amount of gas 😔 so far, low cal Pastabilities has worked better for me, but also now the Carbe Diem is mentioned a lot.

I think it’s great, but don’t smell it or taste it before you put sauce on it—and it definitely needs sauce

I ALWAYS recommend either Fiber Gourmet or Carbe Diem pasta (2 different brands). It’s pretty expensive but it’s actual pasta just with half the calories and tons of fiber. I get mine on amazon. I started with the fiber gourmet and loved it but get carbe diem now bc they have all the different types of pasta. After being keto for years and doing every bullshit pasta substitute there was, I was annoyed and went to the real thing.

Personally, I love chickpea pasta and even the red lentil pasta. I prefer Barilla’s brand of both. I measure out the larger 3.5 oz serving and it’s the perfect amount of pasta for me for 25 grams of protein which really isn’t bad (the red lentil one has the 5 extra g of protein).I make a green sauce by blending together red sauce, spinach, basil, and cottage cheese to make it creamy. The cottage cheese adds another 16 grams of protein. Roast some veggies on the side for low cal volumes and boom- 40ish grams of protein for a 550 cal meal that is so filling.
