I slice mine before I freeze, and individually wrap them in wax paper inside ziplock bags. Slicing them lets me pop them straight in the broiler in the mornings. I bring a dozen back at a time usually.

So I did that once, with everything bagels, on a 6 hour flight back to CA. They were NOT in sealed bags, and the ENTIRE plane smelled like garlic. All I could hear was people speculating on what the smell was. Some folks were fighting mad. I just kept my head down dipped quick when we got to SFO.
