Making the Smoky Beef Cheeseburgers

How do I add “remaining Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend” to the beef after I’ve added “half the Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend” to the potatoes and “half the Smoked Paprika-Garlic Blend” to the onions??? Am I missing something lol

I’d guess it was a typo. I’d do 1/4 for steps 1 and 2, then half for step 3.

Just make your own. You don’t have paprika or garlic on hand?

This is going back to the butter thread. If you cook, even at a basic level, there should be some things you have on hand.

What’s so confusing? Just split the seasoning into 3 equal halves!

Add half in step 1. Add half of what’s left in step 2 and add what’s remaining in step 3. What’s confusing?

You can halve things more than once.

To be fair, it doesn’t technically specify that there is a nonzero amount remaining.

I always season until the ancestors tell me to stop, so I put a lot on the potatoes, a little less in the beef mixture, and I end up with a lot of whatever’s left

    3 halves don’t make a right

I’ve seen this once. Check the front page for an amount under the ingredient list. It might call for 1 tsp, out of 1 tbsp. bag. In which case, there would be a left over amount.

    Add 50% in step 1, 25% in step 2, & the remaining 25% in step 3.
