You didn’t state what recipe you used…. To me, it appears as does my Amish bread when it’s complete. Could this be the Amish bread recipe? It’s beautiful!

The recipe I used was
500g All Purpose Flour 11g Yeast 8g Sugar 8g Salt 14g Oil 1-2 c Water
You want to keep the dough pretty stiff First rise about 35 min Form and rise again. When ready brush milk over top Bake at 380 About 30-45 min
