I have a lot of trouble when I top my bagels with cheese/jalapeno. They don’t bake well, seemingly because the cheese oils soak in too much, but the others in the batch that are sesame/everything/onion bake just fine. Maybe I’m using too much cheese?

Where do these weird food posters come from? I have seen burgers, and sandwiches too and there are always a bunch of strange versions. Apple cinnamon bagel, spinach Florentine, maple French toast? I have never been to a bagel shop or seen a recipe any of those combinations.
*I should mention that an egg bagel should be on this list and would replace the Everything bagel in a nanosecond.
