Oh no! My standard poodle has stolen 2 loaves of brioche and a stick of butter. I can leave a steak out and he don’t steal, but apparently can’t resist bread and butter🤣

My golden retriever stole 2 loafs of challah off the counter last year. And hid them so he could play dumb when they were discovered missing. I caught him by chance at 2 am when I went to use the bathroom. He was behind the couch devouring the bread. When he saw me see him he pretended to be asleep using the bread as a pillow

Reminds me of the time I made a big dinner that took me all day for a special get together with friends. I foolishly went to get changed without putting my dog outside and when I eventually circled back to the kitchen my lab was passed out on the ground panting and literally ALL the food was gone 😂😭
