First time posting on the sub. I’ve always done a reverse sear on steaks in an oven and cast iron, but I wanted to try something new! I used lump charcoal and some mesquite on these bad boys. Turned out pretty a great with a deep Smokey flavor I have never had in a Ribeye before. Let me know what you guys think and how I can improve.

How does this bricks work instead of getting a tray for offset grilling?
We’re not just going to skip over that American cheese slice on the asparagus are we?
These look great. First time and better than 95% of this sub 😂
Nice work. Especially for your first time.
That’s gorgeous
Steak looks dope but wtf is up with the asparagus. War crimes!
We mostly eat carnivore diet and man, i wish they were a little cheaper cuz it’s definitely our fave for flavor/fat content
Slow down buddy slow down enjoy 2 beers
Go off King.
Are they fire bricks in the kettle?
5/5 steak! Looks great. 1/5 asparagus.
Very nice, and not well done 😋
Perfect!!
Dude, nice job and I’d def eat the whole steak! I get what others are saying about the asspergrass, but if you enjoyed it then that’s all that matters! 😋🤌😜
Shut the lid
Look at the size of the cap portion which I believe most delicious! It is very big. Recent Costco ribeye cap is very tiny.
Asparagus was funny, but for ur first steak u killed it and let’s be honest, that was the important part
Was that a flip once ? Looks like it !
