  1. It is always such a joy to see your food storage videos! You always do such a good job preserving everything that you grow, hunt, and fish for your food stock. And yes, I live vicariously through you as you work your magic. It's wonderful that you have smaller jars for spices to give to your grown children. I love that you share everything with them. Thank you again for another awesome video!!

  2. It’s a lot of work, but so worth it! I’m so grateful to watch this while having my morning coffee before the final push to move house! Thank you, Jessica! Much appreciated the mental grounding this morning!❤❤❤. Your pantry is beautiful!

  3. As always, love your channel and especially LOVE LOVE LOVE your pantry and food storage systems! Hope you are doing downstairs next.

  4. Just organized my home canned food. All that you did and said was how it went for me. It’s a big mental and physical effort but very rewarding to have completed. I even went back and labeled the shelves. Some items look so similar that it should be very helpful. Blessings!

  5. Those shelves are legitimately stunning! You definitely should be so proud of yourself! 👏🙌👍

  6. Jessica once again you do not disappoint! Watching when you do this type of video gets motivated to continue with the canning. Thanks!

  7. You inspired me to finish my pantry. I had to completely take it apart. I needed space for my herbs. I need to finish organizing. I love your pantry

  8. I didn't realize until I moved to Mexico that not every country cans. When my sister in law saw me pressure canning she was shocked that I put jars inside the canner. I'm glad I brought reusable lids and my own jars because I can't get supplies here.

  9. I try to keep 2 of each size of jars up stairs the rest go to the basement in boxes jar are upside down in box to safe on dust
. like you i need more room

  10. Please Can someone help me,i have a little space between fridge and small gabinet pantry ( my house is tiny tiny)so can i put a tall drawer bt the m for my jar??

  11. You have been working hard and it shows. I forgot to comment the other day but you and Cody were so cute together cooking she cracks me up but she looked a little more relaxed in front of the camera lol then she usually is. I love getting into the kitchen with my daughter and hanging out. Thank you for sharing Jessica you always make me smile.❤

  12. Girl, you need an assistant. I know the perfect person; hardworking and dependable! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️😂
Your videos are so calming and I just love you guys!

  13. Cream Of Tartar + Baking Soda = Baking Powder maybe you were going to make your own? Or just to have it on hand?

  14. I need to go through our pantry and purge. I’m down with the crude. And you’ve give me that little nudge to clean ours out once feeling better.

  15. I love your pantry, wish my house had an area that I could use as a pantry like that. I would be really proud of it. You asked yourself about why did you have cream of tatar, I use it when I'm making Snickerdoodle cookies.

  16. Great video today really enjoyed it😊 I know you like as azure standard as I do 😊I was wondering if you tried their new jars I love them. They’re wonderful especially the widemouth pint and a half 😊 I ordered them every time I put in an order so that I can stack up on them😊take care😊

  17. W🤩W you’ve done absolutely amazing!! I have pantry envy. My house has so little storage space it’s awful. But we do what we can where we can and make it work. Great vid. ❤❤

  18. It makes the sender as happy to give you things as it does for you to receive them. I watch all your videos. How is Peaches?

  19. You could use the peaches in chocolate oatmeal/hot cereal.
It would camouflage the color and change the texture.

  20. Keeping up with your food storage is a full time job! All your hard work has paid off, you have the gift of security in jars!
Until our next visit….keep on making your dreams come true!

  21. Your pantry is amazing not only is it so fully stocked, but it’s beautiful!!!!! you have worked very hard to be prepared. Good for you.

  22. Have you considered putting an equal mix of ground black and white pepper, it’s lovely sprinkled on soups and stews, also do the same with paprika the standard, sweet, and smoked, I don’t use hot as I don’t like spicy, also garlic and onion powder mixed equally then add that in equal parts to table salt or season salt gives a wonderful flavour on chipped potatoes. Try it with a 1/4 tsp of each.
My fav mix is 1 of garlic and onion added to 1/3 celery salt to 2 tsp of salt. Add that to 1 of sweet, smoked, and std paprika add 2 tsp of this paprika mix to a mix of 2 tsp ground pepper black and white together, as abase season all its great it livens up any meal as a sprinkle or as an add to flour for a dredge, nice pantry tour, very interesting

  23. I was actually thinking that about the premade meal jars! It would be awesome for you to put together freeze dried/dehydrated "stuff" in jars for stews, baked beans and soups for your family. All you would have to do is add the meats once you put the ingrediency of the jar in a pot or slow cooker. The possibilities are endless! Stews, bean mixtures for bean and ham soup (my favorite), chili and so on. All the spices can go in too! Would make awesome gifts too with directions! If you don't want to give up your jars but them in the bags.

I watch another Alaskan family that aren't quite on your level of homesteading but do a lot also (4 boys and a baby girl). Smaller garden and rely on hunting and fishing. She freeze dries any leftovers she has and I mean ANYTHING when there are some (lol) as previsions for hunting or emergency's. They make sure to try them for fun too when doing beach or lake days to see what is good and not. So far they have a great track record with them.

When you receive gifts a simple thank you is enough. People are good most of the time and just enjoy sending useful items or treats. They know they don't have to but WANT to! I just sent a few things to the Alaskan family I was talking about. There is so much you can't get there or just to help out as the cost of living is so high there. Don't feel awkward…sent with love!

  24. I tried to put my spices in alphabet order but it doesn’t take long for that to go astray. 🤦‍♀️
