Went to Tei An for the first time. I always hear about this place and decided it was finally time to give it a shot.
1st picture: premium sashimi platter, with madai, hirame, kanpachi, salmon, tuna, and some kind of jack, I think it’s shima aji but I’m not 100% sure, they serve a few different varieties. Freshly grated wasabi on the side.
2nd picture: tuna in a wasabi mustard sauce, the tuna was directly from toyosu market and the chef mentioned it had arrived just 3 hours before.
3rd picture: madai sashimi, also flown in daily from toyosu market.
4th picture: chawanmushi with shrimp and chicken
5th picture: A5 BMS12 wagyu nigiri
6th picture: tonkotsu ramen, added a poached egg.
The place is also well known for their soba but I didn’t get to try it today. Will have to return in the future to try some more fish & other dishes.
