Crumbl Cookies has shelved the weekly cookie menu – minus chocolate chip – and is serving little pies this week for Thanksgiving. Pre-orders for the holiday are available through Wednesday. Choices include pumpkin, cookies & cream, key lime, French silk, apple and pecan. They’re available in mini and 4-inch sizes.

Here’s something unique to do the day before Thanksgiving. The Only One Bar & Grill in Lennox is having its traditional Shoot the Minnow on Wednesday. Get a live minnow in your choice of shot and a T-shirt to commemorate your “bravery” for $20. The Main Street bar started the event in 2007. It’s also offered around the Easter holiday, and there was a special one this year for the Fourth of July.

While the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving is traditionally a night to hang out at the bar for many, the east-side Bagel Boy is offering an alternative. It’s staying open until midnight for a karaoke and open mic night, with bagels, sandwiches, coffee drinks and Italian sodas available.

Blarney Stone Pub is opening early to serve its traditional Black Friday brunch. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you buy a breakfast entree, take a trip through the build-your-own bloody mary or mimosa bars for $5 or get a bottomless mimosa for $12.

Stensland Family Farms is creating bundles of ice cream to celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas. The 12 Days of Ice Cream Magic for $40 features 12 single dips of the creamery’s favorite specialty and seasonal flavors. Quantities are limited. Find the flavors and order online, or stop by the store to order. The deadline is Dec. 6, and they’ll be available for pickup Dec. 7-13.

The Cookie Jar Eatery is having a Christmas open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with free coffee and hot chocolate, samples of holiday treats and a special on gift cards.

If you haven’t been able to make it to Bibisol for Sunday brunch, the breakfast tacos and burritos are available now during lunch. They’re a twist on the Salas Salsas food truck offering at the Falls Park Farmers Market because they’re drizzled with the restaurant’s queso.

Several new dishes have been added to the regular menu at 22Ten Kitchen Cocktails. New offerings include Jerk Salmon Salad, Animal Style Sliders, Buffalo Patty Melt, Chicken Balsamico, Chimichurri Steaktips, Cajun Pasta, Broccoli Alfredo, Maple Salmon, Honey Pepper Walleye and Buffalo Chicken Tacos.

Check out the updated $11 weekly lunch specials at Krav’n. They’re served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays.

Session Ale Works also has new daily deals.

Three customer-created Whoppers are on the menu at Burger King for a limited time, competition for a $1 million prize. The finalists are Mexican Street Corn, Maple Bourbon BBQ and Fried Pickle Ranch.

Free from bankruptcy, Red Lobster has revamped its menu – and no worries, Cheddar Bay Biscuits continue to be all-you-can-eat with a meal. Other fan favorites remain, and there are six new entrees: Lobster Pappardelle Pasta, Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops, Lobster Bisque, Lemon Basil Mahi, Simply Prepared Mahi and Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. The new Create Your Own Ultimate Feast allows customers to mix and match two premium picks with two classics. Roasted asparagus has been added as a side. Seasonal cocktails include Snowglobe Sangria, Ruby Mule and Mocha Espresso Martini.

Tenderloin steak bites are the star of several new limited-time menu items at Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews. Offerings include bacon-wrapped steak bites, a dinner skillet with mashed potatoes and gravy, a skillet with tots and eggs, steak bites with mac-and-cheese or on a Caesar salad. The sandwich version is topped with provolone and onion tanglers.

Ruby Tuesday has a new menu of holiday specials, with lots of seafood options and several steak choices. Offerings include crab-stuffed shrimp, a crab-stuffed shrimp and steak combo, 1-pound Shrimp Feast, shrimp scampi, crab cake dinner, and a fried catfish and crispy shrimp platter. See the full menu here.

Looking for something to do with your out-of-town holiday guests this weekend or just need a break yourself? A Homestead Brew east of Sioux Falls is having one of its signature beer-branding events Saturday. Stop out from 2 to 9 p.m., and have a beer by the fire, starting at 5 p.m. Sticking a hot stainless steel rod into a beer caramelizes it and changes the flavor into “something new and spectacular.” Among the brewery’s new releases Saturday is Sodak Razzle Dazzle, which was made with 180 pounds of raspberries grown on the farm.

With five Saturdays this month, Sioux Falls Food Tours is doing a specialty tour at 1 p.m. Saturday. The celiac-safe food tour will show that gluten-free doesn’t mean flavor-free. The tour starts at Severance Brewing Co., includes the new Dahlia Kitchen + Bar and Dakota Craft Links and the reopened Swamp Daddy’s Cajun Kitchen and wraps up at R Wine Bar & Kitchen. Get tickets here.

Inspired by the release of the movie “Wicked,” Starbucks has two specialty drinks that are, of course, pink and green. Glinda’s Pink Potion is a Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher hand-shaken with coconut milk, ice and a scoop of freeze-dried dragonfruit. It’s topped with nondairy strawberry cold foam and candy sprinkles. Elphaba’s Cold Brew is sweetened with peppermint-flavored syrup, topped with nondairy matcha cold foam and green candy sprinkles.

Lava’s Coffee in Harrisburg also created a drink to celebrate “Wicked.” It’s matcha with strawberry cold foam.

Fernson Coffee + Tea has new signature drinks. Also new are smoothies, Italian sodas, fruited lemonade and steamers. Customers can customized their drinks and request drinks that aren’t listed like a cortado or piccolo.

Central Dakota Perk in Harrisburg has released its holiday drink menu. Note: All drinks can be made dairy-free by substituting almond or oat milk. It also has added biscuits and gravy to its breakfast food lineup, which is served until closing time. Get a half-order for $4 or a full order for $7.

Have a drink at Carpenter Bar, Highball or The Treasury from Nov. 29 through Dec. 6, and $1 will be donated to Sioux Empire United Way and its mission to improve the lives of children, vulnerable adults and people in crisis.

Celebrate the holidays with five new seasonal drinks at The Hello Hi: Nordern Exposure, Thyme Out, Solstice Sipper, Cranbabie and Father of Pearl. Find the full descriptions here.
