Recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup or 150 g brown sugar
1/2 cup or 100 g granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or paste
1 egg
1 1/2 cup or 185 g flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
chocolate chips
instructions:
1) Brown butter in saucepan on medium heat until it bubbles and the milk solids turn a light brown color, then set aside to cool a bit or add an ice cube, if you dont do this your cookies will be greasy.
2) Combine sugars and browned butter until it looks like wet sand.
3) Add in vanilla and egg and whisk until the color turns slightly pale.
4) Add in flour, baking soda and salt, fold in with spatula so it doesn’t over mix, then add in chocolate chips.
5) Refrigerate for 30 minutes then preheat your oven to 350 fahrenheit/180 celsius, and scoop out dough ball and place on baking sheet two inches apart.
6) Bake for 12-14 minutes.
7) Enjoy!

These were great; I sprinkled some flaky sea salt on top before baking because the batter tasted a little sweet and I think it worked really well!

my cookies still came out great! but they’re not flat like how I wanted them to be, more puffy?
Here’s the recipe!
Melt 1/2 cup of butter (browned)
Add 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Add 3/4 cup brown sugar
Mix until well combined
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add 1 egg
Whisk until color turns slightly pale
Add 1 1/2 cup of flour
Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
Mix, add in chocolate chips, and continue mixing until well combined
Now refrigerate for 30 minutes
Scoop out small balls of dough with a small ice cream scoop or a spoon (be weary with how many you have per baking sheet because they only have 6 per sheet)
Roll balls into spherical shapes and add extra chocolate chips on top
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes

I made these and they were so good. I’m not sure if I did something different though because I had to put mine to bake for 20 minutes instead of 12 to 14 minutes. Besides that it’s the only cookie that I’ve made that actually keeps the chocolate chips melted. Amazing I love it so much. ❤
Can I use regular melted butter instead of browned butter? It’s too much work for me lol.
Heyyyy!!! This recipe is 💯% worth it! I tried it and AHHHHH they taste like heaven. If you don’t like a very gooey texture to your cookies, then I would definitely recommend putting them in for 18-20 minutes. Perfect easy short amount of time cookie! (Great for parties too!)❤️❤️❤️❤️

WOOOOWWWW WOWOWOWOWOW! These are incredible! I made them yesterday and they didn’t turn out very well (I also didn’t follow the recipe yesterday, so go figure). However, I attempted to make them again today and they turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The texture on these cookies is INSANELY ADDICTING and they’re super easy to make!
