Never had a cinsault red, normally a rose grape in France. Because of aoc regulations this is a igp pays doc, comes from south rhone, costieres de nimes.

Light sour cherry candy, light and refreshing. Grilles chicken type of wine, or with a light starter.

13,5% alcohol. Clos des centenaires.
20 euro at domain.

I visited this domaine in 2013 (old name mas neuf, changed in 2016). They have pretty good wines at a decent price. Got this from a webshop. Cheers.

Have been intrigued by the idea of 100% cinsault for a while. Have found it often appears in blends I’ve enjoyed from that region

There are lots of great 100% Cinsaults from the Bechtold vineyard in Lodi also. The oldest Cinsault vineyard in the world.
