Never had it in Japan but it’s everywhere in Taiwan. I like the tofu part, great texture, but not really the stinky part. But most people in Taiwan love it. Every night market smells like this tofu.

I am familiar with it but never tried it myself. I have heard it tastes better than it smells and must be cooked right (lightly fried from what I saw on an instructional video). It’s supposed to be more creamy inside.
