First time making lasagna with homemade noodles. Turned out great. Simple tomato sauce with one mild Italian sausage.

    Mild Italian sausage
    1 small yellow onion
    3-4 garlic cloves
    28 oz can of tomatoes (diced, and I blended them smooth)
    Small bunch of basil and parsley from the garden
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

    1 tub ricotta with egg mixed in

    Shredded mozzarella

    Too thin, dry and not creamy. Next time do more layers and mix sauce with bechamel. And also top last layer with bechamel, it should not looks like a pizza.
