COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Central Ohio-based Bob Evans celebrated Thanksgiving by distributing approximately 1,450 meals throughout the Columbus metro area.

The initiative included delivering 60 Farmhouse Feasts to 35 fire stations and providing meals for 450 crew members. Additionally, Bob Evans partnered with the Columbus Dream Center to distribute 1,000 meals to families in need.

The meals featured signature slow-roasted turkey and classic Thanksgiving sides such as mashed potatoes and gravy, house-made dressing, green beans with ham, and freshly baked rolls.

“At Thanksgiving and every holiday gathering, our commitment is to help our community enjoy delicious food around the holidays so they can focus on making cherished memories that will last a lifetime,” said Bob Holtcamp, President and CMO for Bob Evans Restaurants. “Giving is who we are, going back to our founder, and we are so proud to extend what we do best to thank local heroes like the Columbus Fire Department for their service to the community and organizations such as the Columbus Dream Center who share our vision of equity and holiday enjoyment with loved ones.”

The Columbus Dream Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential resources to those in need across central Ohio.

“The Columbus Division of Fire extends its heartfelt gratitude to Bob Evans Restaurants for their generous donation of meals to on-duty personnel this Thanksgiving,” said Lieutenant Nicholas Davis. “While families across the city gather to celebrate, our firefighters remain on call, 24/7, serving and protecting the Columbus community. The meal donations from Bob Evans are a welcome reminder of the community’s support and appreciation.”

Looking ahead to the Christmas season, the Bob Evans Premium Farmhouse Feast offers a convenient option for Christmas Day. Packed cold and ready to heat, serve, and enjoy, the feast serves 8-10 people. For more information and local restaurant hours, visit the Bob Evans website.
