I'm shite at notes, but here goes. Perfumed herbs, some dark black fruit on the nose. Stewed red fruits on the palette, good length and excellent concentration.

Should probably have been left for another decade, but I am frivolous.

This wine should come with a big disclaimer: If you open this too early it’s going to leave you very disappointed. Open it with some age and it’s sublime.

Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way.

Some might read that as almost axiomatic of wine, but quite frankly some wines are really enjoyable young. I don’t think this one is one of those.

I just had the 2011 yesterday. Had a 2010 last year as well.

Although I imagine they will age gracefully I’d say those were both delicious. 2010>2011 in my opinion.

Have 5 more 2010s that I will let age before drinking again.

Just had a 2011 yesterday with Thanksgiving dinner. Just had to open it an hour before to let some of the classic funk dissipate. It was awesome with really nice balanced acidity to complement the wonderful tempranillo fruit
