A little bit ago, someone posted their smoked London broil and was kind enough to give us the marinade as well. I had to try this for myself. After about 6 hours in the marinade, smoked to 135 then let it rest a bit wrapped in paper in a cooler before grilling to get it back up to temp. The flavor was phenomenal. Even though it was dried out some, I will definitely be doing this one again. I can't wait to make some steak quesadillas and omelettes with the left overs.

Marinade
Cook at 225 til 135 IT then sear a couple mins per side

1/3 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 lemon juiced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon rub, or seasoning. (I used Yellowstone brand Cattleman's Steak)
2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Put everything into a zip lock bag and shake it up Add the meat, seal, work it onto the meat, and forget about it for a few hours or more, don't go longer than 6 or 8 hours.
(I used Montreal Steak seasoning and about 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/8 cup teriyaki sauce)

I did one the other day, SPG the outside , let it refrigerate 24hrs, smoke at 225 for approx 45 min until it hit 120, had the gas grill at 800 degrees, 1 min each side .. delicious for something that is not one of my go to’s but comes with a side of beef.

I do mine a little different. Marinate for 24hrs and finished temp is barely medium rare, as these roasts are tough cuts of meat.
