Had this grill for years left untouched under a cover. Worth restoring? Insides seem pretty decent, no?

Yes, worth restoring. I have the same unit and will spend the $100 to replace the guts on mine this spring.

The grates still look good. A good scrub down and a can of high temp paint should get her back to showroom

Looks worth restoring. Can probably get replacement parts easy and clean the shell.

The inside looks mostly fine. Who cares what the outside looks like

I restored one of these that i got from a coworker for free, Get some rust dissolver, a wire brush/scraper, and some high temperature paint, it might take a few days but i ended up with a solid Grill/smoker.

Whats to restore? Fire that bad boy up and scrub the grates then cook dinner!

I replace whatever breaks on mine and always will.

I would say yes. It looks like a pretty nice grill!

I had one which I gave to my son lasted for over a decade, now have a Texas trio which I keep oiled up everywhere I see a speck of rust and love the unit

Yes, and turn your bottom shelf so you can store your propane tank on it.

Yes! I love mine. The inside is in a lot better shape than mine. Only thing wrong is the little ledges that hold the deflector plates wore off so the plates won’t stay in and level.

  12. Wash, dry and rub some canola oil or what ever oil you have in the kitchen. Buy some steaks and fire that thing up.
