Just make sure they have water & light.

I didn’t do anything to mine except bring it inside. I got some leaf drop but I’ve had new growth everywhere for at least the last three weeks. We’ll see what happens I guess. Good luck with yours

If they’re inside and they aren’t dead, you are 👍

New soil, new container? I had 0 issues with aphids or whiteflies outdoors this year – there just weren’t any- so I didn’t worry about bringing the plants in as is. But if you had either, you might be in for a population explosion. My biggest problems were hornworms and leaf-footed bugs; hornworms are nightmare creatures that can defoliate an entire plant in one night without even trying; I lost a couple good pepper plants to them and all of my tomatoes. The leaf-footed bugs enjoyed my cucumber plants, but my small army of anoles enjoyed them even more and pretty much wiped them out without me raising a finger. Don’t know if I’d rather have aphids and whiteflies or hornworms because I’ve been unable to ever grow tomatoes and I’ve lost more than a few pepper plants to them. By the time you realize you need to treat, it’s like your garden got hosed with Agent Orange. I’ve heard horror stories, though, about aphids hitching rides indoors on overwintering plants and going on a rampage. Another poster here on Reddit has shared their story about trying to get rid of them and how it’s a nearly impossible task if the plant is infested.

Just fine, just make sure it gets plenty of light. Getting yourself a light with a timer and it will get plenty of new growth.

I usually cut them even lower than that and at least 1/3 of them come back the next year. I don’t change the soil or anything. Just cut them down almost to the ground and throw them in the garage until Spring.
