Ingredients: 1 cup Yellow onion diced 5 Garlic cloves minced 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Salt and pepper to taste Basil sprig 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 tablespoons flour 28oz Tortellini 28oz can of plum tomatoes crushed 3.5 cups Chicken stock 1 cup Heavy cream 3 tablespoons chopped basil
Method:
Add olive oil to a pot and add in the yellow onions and cook for about 8 minutes on medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for another few minutes. Next, add the flour and cook for another few minutes. Add your crushed tomatoes, chicken stock, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and a basil sprig and turn the heat to medium high and bring to a boil and let it boil for about 15 minutes. Add in your tortellini and bring it back to a boil. Add your heavy cream and chopped basil and bring back to a simmer. Serve with fresh shredded Parmesan and don’t forget BREAD. Bon appetit 😋
