

Ok y’all I’m on the sourdough train. A little later than most but I’m having fun with it! For some reason my score didn’t turn out the way I wanted (a Christmas tree LOL) Here’s my second loaf, how does it look? 69% hydration if you factor in the water from the starter..
Recipe:
125g starter
500 g flour
285 g water

It doesn’t look like the loaf of a beginner – so take that as a compliment.
You seem to be the kid in school that wrings their hands over every test and always gets an A. That looks an amazing grilled cheese is about to happen. .

Bake the next one longer.
Only issue i would see is it looks like there is rosemary? inside of the loaf that isnt evenly distributed. But other than that it looks great. The colour is also a little light imo but that may just be a preference more than anything else
