My first attempt at roasted salsa.

  1. Ten Roma tomatoes, one large yellow onion, 6 cloves of garlic, 4 of both jalapeños and Serrano peppers, one Anaheim pepper and one habanero. Added salt, pepper, cumin, cilantro and lime after cooling.

    Looks great! Although wouldn’t seasoning before roasting in the oven burn the seasoning and give the salsa a burnt/acrid flavor?

    Next time try getting a good char. It week change the flavor profile a little. Mrs around until you get one you like. But never stop playing around.

  4. My favorite is the Jalapeño. & New Mexico Hatch chilis the Hot one’s are to die for. Your technique/presentation looks great! I’ll be making some salsas for Christmas. As well as Green chili Tamales.
