I love a pub sub!! Such a steal, too, considering the price of a package of the not-turkey and vegan cheeze 😆 I always grab one when I go home to GA. If only they offered veganaise behind the counter!!

Is this normally on the menu or is it like a secret menu order? I’ve never seen this around my local NC stores.
Edit: Ok so I checked online and most of my local stores have like 4-5 potential vegan options on their online menus! They do not mention them on the in store signage. This post has been eye opening haha. It’ll be so nice to have a cheap and easy lunch option in an area where there are no options at all. Thanks for the heads up!

Publix started this about 2 years ago. All publix locations are supposed to do it. But they get really salty when they have to do it and they take extra long to prepare them. They have to go to the vegan section by produce and get the unreal meat slices out of the packs. Sometimes they get lazy and use tofurkey also lol.

Every time I’ve tried to order this, they’ve been out of a core ingredient. But, their meatless Philly is my jam. The Tex-mex black bean burger sub is great too. One day I’ll get to try this one!

I’ve unfortunately had to inform every single worker there that the item exists. Some have argued with me saying there’s no such thing!

Pub sub is a hell of a deal compared to any other prepared food at a grocery store, imo. I can get 3 solid meals from it, especially if I have a side/salad.
