I was inspired by another person on here to make a pretty pie. I got too cocky with the blueberry pie I posted the other day and now I have two ugly ass pies. The filling at least tasted good before I baked them, hopefully they still taste good.
I put waaaaaay too much blueberry filling in the one. The other one is 3 berry pie and I was giving up, my back and feet hurt at this point and I was completely over it.
The braided edge on the blueberry would’ve been so cool if it didn’t fall off 🙃

Personally I think pies look more appetizing like this, the really pristine ones all sealed up with crust look a little dry and bland imo…

That’s not an epic failure. It’s just a bit of juice that went over the side. You can remove it when set. The pies look delicious.
The difference between you and Icarus is that you have pies that taste delicious. I’d say this is still a win!

So you should’ve had parchment paper or foil on your pan. Not a fail.
Never baked my own pie but I’ve been considering it… Is this just an overfilling issue or what do you think went “wrong”? (I would totally devour this and be proud of it btw loll)
