I’m a basic baker- maybe bake once or twice a year I’ll do a birthday cake or some muffins. One of my boys were dying to eat macarons so I got a recipe someone suggested from this sub and we tried it out.

They turned out better than I thought, I was scared to try and thought we’d have to throw away our first attempt. I think we lucked out they tasted pretty good. But they look really grainy? We sifted the almond flour 3 times, what could be the issue?
