I do my absolute best for my peppers and I know serrano peppers can be tricky. I added a teaspoon of coffee grounds yesterday, water deeply once a week and lightly twice a week. Temperature is kept between 70°F and 80°F and I recently moved it more into the sun. There is a grow light for all my peppers as well.
It could just be the amount of fruits, the serrano is loaded with about 50 peppers one to three inches long. I did have 4 yellow leaves which have fallen, all from the lower main stem.
