A flood recently led to rising ground water levels in my village (fortunately the flood walls were able to withstand the river, hardly). My cellar was flooded but i took it as a opportunity to reorganize it all. I replaced the “wine bricks” with metal frames. The frames have a lower capacity overall, but the bricks ruined the labels in the long term, as they were to damp. i reallly like how tidy it feels now! As my wine taste evolved i also sorted around 40 bottles into my “drink soon or gift them” pile.

Aside from the foot of water, it looks gorgeous.
