Pleasantly surprised by the level of heat from this cheap Walmart cheese
I'd buy this for the quality and heat over almost any brand name habanero Cheddar, and I've never even seen a ghost or better cheese at my local good grocery store.

I don’t get on reddit much, didn’t mean to shill.. I use tobasco scorpion or torchbearer garlic reaper most every meal, but I thought this was a solid solid option for a decently hot cheese that doesn’t break the bank for when I want to add an extra touch to a quesadilla, grilled cheese, etc.
It’s not gonna knock your socks off, but it’s a hell of a lot better than a standard pepperjack

I got some slices from my local grocery store (Publix) had them on burgers and was pleasantly surprised!

My mom bought me some as a surprise lol. It’s so delicious🔥definitely hotter than pepper jack🔥. Whatever amount you normally use cut it in half then taste, unless you think you can handle it. You can then add more if needed or mix with regular cheese for balance and eat it for a snack . I love it 😍

I never tried the Walmart one, but the one here at my local grocery (H-E-B), they sell their own shredded reaper cheese and man that stuff is hot.
