First time making burgers from scratch

  1. Bun looks good; toasted makes them even better. Maybe smash that burger patty wider not thicker next time. Hotter pan to get more color on the patty. If that’s cheddar cheese, ok, but American melts better and looks better. Bacon press for the bacon for nice even cooked slices that are flat and fit.

    Looks tasty! If you’re looking to improve I think a wider burger works better than taller. You can smash it down or if you prefer slightly thicker you can make an imprint in the middle so that it doesn’t become so ball-shaped. I also think a hotter pan will benefit you in either case.
