In this episode, I traveled to Istanbul to uncover the true essence of Doner Kebab at the legendary Tatar Salim restaurant. This place is all about one thing: perfecting the art of kebab. No menu, no distractions—just incredible veal and lamb marinated in yogurt and onions, cooked to perfection. Served with fresh bread baked in a traditional tandoor-like oven, this experience redefined everything I thought I knew about kebabs. Prepare to be amazed by the authentic flavours of Turkey!

  1. 🤯 I never ever had kebab like this. Word. Big thanks to Émir and Tatar Salim for having me. Link to the new saucepans : https://salutcompany.com
Just so you know, youtube is doing the dubbing automatically but you can turn it off in the settings

  2. I’d love to try that. Authentic meat, not the rat meat + flour that’s served in Spanish kebab joints.

  3. Whenever I share the real döner on my accounts, people from Germany attacks me saying döner is German hahah! Thank you for showing people the real deal. Tatar Salim is really a good place to eat döner!

  4. today's video has been removed why ? it was great video. with some technical issue but still good video

  5. Mr Alex, i was in the middle of watching your latest video, on how to make doner kabab at home, i paused it to grab some water, and when i came back the video was removed, what happened

  6. The new video is "Private". Does that mean you are too lazy to put a fee? Because that would be ok, but "private". That's an insult. 24 hours, and if I can see it, or have a good explantation as to why, you've lost me, my friend. "Private"? And still shoing up in my feed? Why? And how can I see it?

  7. First of all people, just look for different content creator esp about food there are tons of great content creators out there than this channel.
So the previous video and this u had 2 not so much knowledgeable guy about food, especially Turkish food. I wonder and click to this 2. video and im so disapointed that u just visited İstanbul to eat döner and only eaten one place. I guarantee you there must be at least 10+ places has better döner than that place. Also you probably went into the worst place of that chain restaurant. 2 not so much knowledgeable guy guides us, 4 sponsors, trying out 1 döner place( which is one of 4 sponsors imo) The quality you give, what you'll get. Don't expect giving so little and getting more. Saddes part you're french, food is in ur dnas one of the prolific culinary in the world.
Note: I read the comments a bit and not suprised what u get in comments from people.

  8. Alex why don't you come to Lebanon to introduce you to another variety of kebap we have. I would say the best shawarma is the Lebanese variation of all.
