It may look burnt but it did not taste burnt at all

  2. Looks pretty good. A little over charred, but still looks delicious

Suboptimal temp assuming you were going for rarer and a bit charred on the outside, but this is far from ruined.

That is a perfect medium-well. Juicy. Enjoy!

Nah, just make sure you clean and dry it thoroughly and then apply a thin layer of mineral oil and your board will be fine.

    Steak looks good though.

  6. Ruined? Hell naw. Though I cut mine on my plate so the juices are hanging around.

Well if you were after medium you nailed it.

Bit of char never hurt anyone.

Would be much better on the rare side but still looks tasty. At least it’s not well done.

  9. Yeah it’s terrible, send it to me and I will dispose of it for you.

    One man’s trash is another man’s treasure! I’m a beggar here…

If you like it cooked that much you nailed it. But if your goal was medium rare, way overcooked . Either way hope you enjoyed it

If you finished by basting in butter then the char is mellowed and for me the char is great. The temp is medium well but probably very tasty

  13. She’s a little past medium rare but still looks edible

Idk what is wrong with it. I’m Ike 85% vegetarian and would smash this.

I would eat that right now what you mean…

  16. Absolutely ruined. Send it here and I’ll dispose of it for you…

…no? Is this some kind of a trick question?

Everything between well done rubber steak and raw with beef tapeworm is perfectly fine

This a near perfect Pittsburgh. What’s the opposite of ruined?

  20. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this steak for home consumption.

  21. Federal_Pickles

I’d eat it. And I’d save a few slices for a leftover steak sandwich

If you ever really overcook it (it is more than I would “prefer”, but still very juicy), make beef stew/chilli with it. Just chop it up and add stuff like beef broth, potato’s, carrots, celery, etc. and Wolla, a nice stew
