Copper 22 Clearance

For $95 on clearance I couldn’t pass it up. Hell a new grate is $40. I can’t thank those who posted this Lowes clearance enough. My 18 year old one touch gold (black) is good yet but I still bagged this one.

I like that it has built in thermometer and handle heat shield. Old one I drilled in lid for Thermo. Slight rust there now. I have to wear a welding glove when the ripping the vortex at 650F for wings to take off the lid on the old one touch gold. I wonder if the heat shield will eliminate the need for a glove.

Overall I like the new one. I was worried that maybe they cheaped out but I don’t think that’s the case. The ash pan is slightly thinner but the new design is way better for on and off I can see that already.

I just wish it had two side handles and the single leg was on the right. My old side table goes over the handle over the single leg side for stability. I don’t want the table on the left.

But seriously folks new in box $95 and thanks for the tip! Doing a full chimney burn out today.
