Dear cookie decorators: You are all so talented! This is my first try with my 3-year old son. They are Christmas dinosaurs.


I’m a long time follower of this sub, I love watching the videos. You make it look so easy! It’s terrible weather where we are so my husband thought it would be a fun indoor activity with our toddler. We’ve never decorated cookies before and it was not easy – but lots of fun with the family. I think you should all increase your prices for time and effort.

    I cook with my daughters as often as I can.

    Right before Covid I lost a very successful career and had zero money. I wanted to do things with my kids. So I bought sugar, flour etc. and I taught myself how to bake and then taught my kids.

    I told them when they get to collage they’ll be super popular because they’ll be among the few who can cook and bake.

    I hope it’s memories they’ll cherish all of their lives.

    Oh the memories your son will have now. I have a 7 month old and I’m excited to do stuff like this with him
