LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A catering company is making sure the holidays are bright for everyone.
RK Bluegrass hosted their second holiday giveback event in the Portland neighborhood.
Every family that came got a full Christmas dinner complete with turkey, holiday sides and dessert. Each package is enough for about eight to ten people, and RK Bluegrass is handing out 200 of them.
“This business is here 365 days a year. We’re trying to be a beacon in the area. We’re trying to help West Louisville continue to develop and bringing in everybody at least one day a year lets them know who we are, so they can put names to faces and our community feels good about us being here,” Neil Fuselier with the RK Group said
Santa was also there to bring some holiday joy, and every kid got to leave with a stuffed stocking.
