Don’t get me wrong, I liked it fine. Simple ingredients (chocolate habaneros, vinegar, 16 million SHU oleoresin capsicum), decent taste. I added about a tablespoon to a large bowl of Frontera Grill chipotle salsa, and I was expecting to be sent running for the hills. But it honestly just wasn’t that hot. For having a purported 16 million Scoville additive, the burn was fairly quick and bright but otherwise unremarkable. Still made for a delicious, spicier salsa, though.

I didn’t really care for mamba, but the Mongoose one is imo absolutely stellar. Tastes better too, lots of big habanero flavor.

The 16M is for the capsaicin added, not the total sauce heat. My mom got it for me as a Christmas present, Inquire liked the flavor. But it’s hot as fuck if you just put it on a corn chip like info to taste new sauces.

  3. I was expecting extreme heat since the store employee told me it was the hottest product they had

I was severely disappointed when I tried it a few times. It’s super tame. Alot of vinegar with heat that feels like it MIGHT come up

I personally don’t recommend it to anyone that wants high heat
