Most spots open in the Dallas area on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day take reservations, and many offer special holiday menus, with celebratory favorites like prime rib, spiral ham and turkey.
For those who might want to pick-up and pre-order holiday meals, there are options for that, too.

On Christmas Day, Cut & Bourbon will have brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. At the Loews Arlington Hotel, stop into Farena for an Italian continental breakfast for $35 per person (7 a.m. to 12 p.m.) or the venue’s regular Italian dinner menu or the holiday special of whole-roasted branzino (5 to 10 p.m.). The Design District restaurant is offering special Christmas dishes from Dec. 20 through Christmas Eve. Specials for the holiday dinner menu range from crab and mascarpone stuffed portobello mushroom to roasted lamb shank with butternut squash puree and candied pecans. Visitors to the Omni PGA Frisco Resort can look forward to two options on Christmas Day at the Ryder Cup Grille, one of 13 restaurants and bars at the hospitality property. For $48, guests can opt for prime rib, served with rosemary fingerling potatoes, pork belly, creamed spinach and glazed carrots, or for $44, lamb chops with polenta, glazes carrots and roasted cippolini.
