I’ve seen people say that they lived in Altoona for decades and never saw it, which is valid. Maybe just one place makes it.
I understand that alabama white bbq sauce is a similar situation — someone was looking for unique sauces from each state and found some dude who uses a white sauce nobody ever heard of before.
