Steak Pasta

Mexican-marinated tri tip, seared then cubed and placed over alfredo pasta, topped with fresh cilantro.

The recipes I was finding for “steak pasta” on Google were all pretty lame (basically just a steak served with pasta… not a cohesive dish, and the steak wasn’t even bite-sized so you’d need to be cutting your pasta dish with a steak knife??)

This is the same tri tip marinade I use for tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. It’s super flavorful and the contrast with the creamy alfredo is so good. Alfredo sauce is very easy to make from scratch, this whole dish was pretty simple to prepare. Pretty much peak comfort food for me.

Posted the full recipe here if anyone wants it: [steak pasta alfredo](https://www.craftycookbook.com/steak-pasta-alfredo/)

  2. Man, it is so rare to see beef pasta, I know some people might get offended, one might think meat should be a dish by itself, not a complement to another dish, but beef pasta is so good.

My go to is ribeye cap with a Gorgonzola pasta. More like two separate dishes though.

I didn’t realize just how tired I was of seeing just plain steak on here until this pic! This looks so delicious!
