Wood pigeon, honey roast figs and gorgonzola

This was a main meal but I quite often make it a starter for me and the missus. Pigeon is super rare and nicely rested. ( local, shot by my old man )
Plenty of simple dressing and a sprinkle of walnuts on rocket and watercress 🥰
