Lock them in a cage with the motherfucker that cuts one apron string short and make them fight to the death. Then kill the winner with hogs.

I have a cheap button fastener. I cut the neck and add a few snap buttons so it’s essentially adjustable. Or you can get the ones that are already adjustable

    Dude, who hurt you?

    I dearly hope this sparks some d e b a t e.

If the apron’s strap is too long for someone they have to do “something” to make it fit don’t they? Though I admit this person should have used a knot that’s easier to undo…

When all the aprons are BigBoy™ size and I’m a size small woman… Yeah I’m knotting it. I’m not having that shit under my tits like a shelf.

I have my own apron now but I remember the pain.

  6. chattinouthere

if you buy me an apron that’s too big, we are enemies.

  7. Sometimes ya gotta knot!
You must always undo it before it goes in the bin, however.

I don’t get what the issue is unless you’re doing your own laundry…

I find it easier to give all new employees a few nice adjustable aprons that they are responsible for. No issues usually, and everyone looks good and they are comfortable.

But yea, kill this person and do it slow

Hear me out, I’m an adult but I’m 5ft tall. Fucking sorry.

I use a binder clip I keep on the brim of my work cap

  11. Few_Cranberry_1695

It’s wild how everyone is ignoring the real issue.

Knot your shit all you want. Do whatever the hell you want as long as it’s back to normal when it goes in the laundry.

why is knotting the strap across the back fair game but the neck strap isn’t? Although knot should have come out before it went in the bag or at the cleaners, I have never pulled an apron from a clean stack and found a knot. But don’t listen to me, all this talk of straps and knotting got me malfunctioning

  13. devonthedweeb

nothing beats when all the knotted aprons all join forces in the dryer… then its an hour hell for the KP

#So I’m sitting there, BBQ sauce on my titties… 😒

  15. Odonata_Cardinalis

I always tie a quick release knot that I undo as soon as I take it off to go in the hamper

  16. Moist-Arugula-3811

Excuse me, my torso is vertically challenged. I must knot the apron.

  17. wheelperson

I’m sorry…. I’m one of those people but i have 2 aprons only that I use cuz they already have them.

My place has a couple dudes with turbans; they have ripped open the shirts to fit them. But they did it to ALL the shirts. My boss paid me to re sew them, but I made it so they can still fit. They always said they never did it but only the Indian dudes wore the ripped shirts. I’m glad they did not mind me fixing the shirts with more head room.

Cooks, always bitchin about something 😂

  19. Supersecretsword

Meh if it hangs too low I’m knotting that shit. Sorry not sorry.

  20. Pillsbury37

would it be nice if they made aprons out of better materials and had an adjustment on the strap and ties long enough for even us big guys to tie in the front.

  21. ghostofwallyb

I’m convinced that the knots are what gets them tangled in the wash

  22. Outrageous_Row6752

Just grab another and leave that one for the munchkins

  23. robomassacre

100%. Fucking hate this. At least take the knot out before throwing it in the laundry bag. Once they get washed with a knot it wicked sucks to undo the knot.

  24. The real enemy is the washing machine and dryer. At least at my job; we throw them all in together and they turn into a giant ball of hell after they’re clean.

  25. johangubershmidt

I just want to know who’s cutting one apron string and inch away from the apron, and then putting it in the hamper like it’s still usable

  26. xxBLACKGHOST

WOAH!! No need for the hard “r” we call them “knottas”.

The average height of a Central American man is 5’5”, and there are lots of Central American men working in kitchens. The average American man is 5’9”, that’s who the aprons are made for. Women and short men need to knot. Die mad about it.
