‘Crokini’ is our new go-to red cherry tomato. It has that great sweet-tart balance, like a perfectly ripe Owari Satsuma. It actually tastes like a tomato, not just a sugar bomb.

We dried our end-of-season harvest, and have them in a bowl on the table. I can’t stop eating them. We’ll probably drop Sweet 100s in most of our gardens next year (we’ll still grow a few). ‘Crokini’ forms huge trusses, but if they do get enough water, the tomatoes will be smaller.

‘Crokini’ is also Late Blight resistant, a rare characteristic in cherry tomatoes. From Territorial Seeds.
