I had the cake ,itself, done by a decorator I know at the store. I didn't want to bake my own cake this year, and I wanted something I used to make back in the day.

We called it a shadow cake. It's chocolate cake, non dairy whipped cream style frosting, covered in a fudge frosting. A variation I like is with mint whipped cream frosting.

I added the white and dark kit Kats to look like piano keys. The dark ones are cut in half. I didn't happen to secure the top Kit Kats like I would on someone else's cake, but I could have with a little heat or a dot of melted chocolate.

You could , also,do a cake like this with the keys on the bottom and a red rose lying across the top.
