It’s the amount of water you put in per cups of rice. 2 cups means fill it up to that line.

The main one is for regular white rice

The right hand side if for making porridge

The 2-4 section is for sushi rice

    Five options left to right.

    White mixed with brown rice.

    White rice

    Sushi rice

    Hard congee

    Soft congee

If you put in two cups of white rice, you put in enough water to hit number 2 line of the second column.

Also it may refer to the “cup” size the cooker came with, not a standard measuring “cup” size.

The left most thing seems to say “no pressure” on top. Does this thing have a pressure cook option?

If this is a Cuckoo, there’s usually the same markings in English on the opposite side

Use Google translate with your camera and you can read it yourself.

If you throw a 6, it is also 4 and 2. But never 1.5
