Doesn’t matter how loose I go with the braids, they still separate like a muffuga, but the outcome is stellar so I guess it’ll have to do 🤷🏻‍♂️.

    I could be wrong, but I think that’s an issue with the amount of proofing. I don’t know if it’s not enough during bulk fermentation or not enough during the final rise. But as long as the result is delicious, it looks fine to me.

    My mom chose challah as our bread for Christmas when I asked what she wanted. I need to dig out my recipe before we leave next week to go visit. I have tried three different ones and know which one is my clear favorite but have no idea the ratios if I had to look up one on the internet.

  2. I’d skip the rosemary or any savory herb, since the majority of that loaf is gonna be the world’s best French toast.
