  1. Wait, you put fresh onions in your chili? Interesting twist, thanks

This might get me hate but the onions should be cooked with the chili, not added afterwards. Power to ya if this pic does it for you but I just can’t abide it. I’m prepared to get dragged for this opinion.

    You’re doing just fine

That amount is my minimum. Enjoy your onions!

  5. Sandisax1969

    I’d take more…chopped smaller,but I LOVE onions.

  6. I legit put so much cooked onion in my chili but I also top with fresh cut onion. Honestly this isn’t too much, maybe not enough?

  7. JeronimoThatHoe

You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

  8. itsonlyMash

Uncooked onions is odd but I haven’t tried it. I always have a ton of cooked onion in mine.

  9. I don’t think it is to many but I’d definitely prefer them cut smaller…and then add more

    No such thing

Though I’d go for thin sliced red, to each their own

The chili is better with a finer dice of raw onion

I don’t have anything against the onions. I will say that your chili doesn’t look like chili. It looks like a dark ketchup.

As part of the everyone crew, I can tell you that you’re doing it correctly.

Lol not enough. Actually I throw that right on top of a hot dog.

  15. Massive-Objective463

No such thing. You have too many wrong people telling you lies.

  16. LettuceOpening9446

Some would say there’s too much chili with your onions.

  17. INSTA-R-MAN

Nobody needs that kind of negativity in their life!

I say you don’t have enough. And it needs more cheese.

Do a finer dice and you can maximize onion volume and consistency per spoonful. I like white ones for this too but sometimes red, or whatever I’ve got.
